Programming
Policy: West Kentucky Community & Technical College
encourages and supports professional development funding of speakers/consultants
whose presentations improve and enhance the quality of the learning
environment.
Procedure:
- Obtain verbal approval of the proposed event from your supervisor.
- Complete the online WKCTC POD Programming Application.
When the online application is complete, an automatically generated
e-mail will be sent to POD Co-Chair, Renea Akin.
- The POD Co-Chair sends an e-mail to the supervisor confirming
approval of the application.
- The WKCTC POD Committee approves or rejects the application.
- The POD Co-Chair notifies the applicant.
- Applicants are responsible for working with the POD Co-Chair to ensure timely payment of related expenses.
Priority: Priority consideration will be given to applications that demonstrate the following characteristics:
- Activity directly relates to the WKCTC Strategic Goals
- Activity promotes a learning environment
- Activity appeals to a diverse audience
